No answer provided yet.I’m not sure if I fully understand the question, but if you’re asking given a Process Sigma of 3 or 6, which of the two is closer to the spec-limits, that answer is 3-sigma. If by tighter, you mean, which one has a higher-quality process, then it’s the 6-sigma one. If a process is at Six-Sigma, it means that the process is 6 standard deviations from the nearest spec-limit.
