No answer provided yet.The data from the Excel sheet show that this comes from a paired t-test. A paired t-test (or matched t-test) is where the same subjects are measured on two-occasions. To determine if there is a statistically significant difference we look to the p-values. We're given two p-values--one and two tailed. Both the one-tailed (p = .0665) and two-tailed (p=.133) are above .05, the typical alpha value for rejecting the null hypothesis. Since they are both above .05 we do not conclude that the difference is significant between Beer and Soda.
